I’m LOVING my Briar Rose Beauty Powder! I was a bit sceptical at first as it seemed a bit chalky and I wasn’t sure what a ‘beauty powder’ actually was =0/
I just use it as a blusher, and on my pale complexion it gives a gorgeous natural flush.
Really glad I picked it up, and unlike most I adore the tacky Disney packaging =D
Also wearing Clinique Anti-Blemish foundation
Sleek Eye Drama mascara
Boots 17 pressed powder
Revlon Nude Slip matte eye shadow
ELF liquid eye liner
MAC Of Royalty (Fabulous Felines) lipstick

The days are getting shorter and there is definately a nip in the air, it’s fair to say Autumn is well and truly upon us! I was really into light bronzy hues and pale pink cheeks for Summer, and have tuned my tastes into a more warmer tone for Autumn. I really like No.7 blushers and this gorgeous creamy coral is the perfect alternative to all the plummy tones currently out in force.
I love my current combo, the Boots No.7 ‘Coral Flush’ adds a gorgeous flush of colour, the blusher itself is matte, creamy and highly pigmented so just a light touch is all I need. I love the New CID i-glow blusher on the apples of my cheek and up into my hairline to add a slight glow, the two hues blend beautifully and give the perfect coral cheek!
Boots no.7 Coral Flush on the left, New CID i-glow Coral Crush on the right
The i-glow is v.similar to a MAC MSF and but slightly more pigmented IMO. I like wearing it on its own on simple makeup days and love the fact it’s glowy, but not shimmer overload. I’m getting rid of my MAC MSfs for this, that’s …

For a natural look I sure used alot of stuff!
I wanted to keep it simple, and focus on my skin more than anything. I love the HD powder, it really adds that finishing touch. As my skin is oily, I used the matifying powder first and just a quick dusting of the HD powder once I had applied everything else.
For my base I used the ELF Mineral Infused Primer then I used Revlon Colorstay foundation, applied with the ELF Studio flat top kabuki style powder brush, then I used the ELF concealer/highlighter duo under my eyes (I dabbed them both and blended) then I applied the ELF Studio Matifying powder all over using the sponge provided (shock horror!). Then I used the ELF Blush/Bronze duo to slighty contour, as this product is SOO pigmented I used a very light hand! I used my Ms Makeup blusher brush (its quite stiff, which I like for contouring)
For my eyes I primed my lids with the ELF Primer then curled my lashes with the ELF mechanical curler and I used 2 shades from the Sparkle Eyes Beauty Encyclopedia, using the mushroom colour all over my lid then just a touch of …

I’m loving green eyeshadow! I’ve been after a gorgeous mint green for a while (since pastels are the shiz for spring) and snapped up the gorgeous Aquadisiac for £7.99 from eBay! Now alot of people are put off buying make-up from eBay as there are alot of fakes floating about but there are some great bargains to be had if you do your homework. Personally I think I’m quite good at spotting fakes, and only buy from reptuble suppliers. If you have any doubt, ask the seller if they can guarantee the items authenticity, if they don’t reply, then you know its a fakey wakey!
Anyway, met my lovely friend Clare for some chicken and had a lil play with my MAC shadows, I’m getting quite a collection!
Face – Revlon ColorStay mixed with Estee Lauder Double Wear (been wearing the Lush colour supplement alot BUT I wanted a bit more coverage as was hitting the pub =P) Maybelline Mineral Power concealer & Maybelline Dream Matte powder & No.7 Honey blusher…. I thought MAC Harmony would replace this but it doesn’t apply as nicely as Honey. Hmm!
Eyes – UDPP, Wookwinked on the lid with Cranberry blended into the crease, Aquadisiac …

I’m loving experimenting with all my palettes! I find watching & reading tutorials gets me a bit confused as everyone has their own take on blending, shading and combining colours so I just done my own thing and quite liked the result =D. I was so nervous about posting my pics up yesterday but you guys have been so lovely, and I’m really touched at all the compliments, you have really given me the confidence to play around more =)
Eyes – so today I used the two light browns and the black in the storm palette for my eye colours. I used the matte brown all over my lid, and the shimmery taupey brown over my brow bone blending them together then simply dabbed my lil finger in the black and pressed on my crease and blended it it… Schimples! Also used my E.L.F Brow Kit (dark) on my brows but I’m really not happy with them after seeing them up close so I’m going to have them re-shaped on Wednesday =).
Again finished with L’Oreal Super Liner in Carbon and Maybelline The Falsies mascara (review coming soon!). I forgot to use my UDPP oopsie =0/.
Face – I mixed …

Hey poons =D
Met up with my gorgeous mate Spencer (who I haven’t seen in like forever!) to go to the EastEnder 25th anniversary exhibition in Shoreditch! Sounds exciting right? WRONG!
It was the biggest pile of poo, it was basically like a front room with a few props in it =0/. Mega dissapointed!
But I had fun seeing my mate and we had a fab lunch so all was not lost =D. Anyway this was my makeup look for today…
Face – Mixed my Revlon ColorStay (Ivory) with Estee Lauder Double Wear (Desert Beige) a lil Maybelline Mineral Power (No.2) concealer under my eyes and lightly dusted with Maybelline Dream Matte (Rose Ivory) powder. I used a light sweep of my faveourite blusher from the Body Shop, but unfortunately its part of a palette and doesn’t say the name of the shade =0/
Eyes – UDPP (Sin) and a mixture of browns in the Sleek Storm Palette on my lids, with a few coats of Max Factor Lash Extension Mascara and a touch of Estee Lauder Artists Pencil (black) on my upper lashline.
Lips – Body Shop lipstick (10)
Gerrout a my pub!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate taking photos of myself, I think I’ve got a big egghead lol!
Just wanted to tell everyone about this fab site love-makeup.co.uk. The site specialises in discontinued ranges from MAC & also sells really hard to find China Glaze shades and NYX cosmetics. The site also takes payment by paypal so its really good if you need a quick fix! I purchased the following on sat and got my parcel today =D
China Glaze polish in Red Pearl, I actually ordered Rio but they sent me this… and im not complaining its gorgeous! Will do a full review in a few days =D
NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil in Black Bean, absolutely love this! As I’m a bit of a rock chick I know I will use this alot for those lazy smudged liner days. Goes on smooth and almost feels like liquid, very intense!
NYX Lipstick in Harmonica, a gorgeous soft pink shade I know I will reach for often. I’m really impressed with NYX, I’ve read alot about them on MUA and can see what the hype is all about!
NYX Lip Gloss in Sweetheart, the perfect nude! I’m wearing this in my picture. Its gorgeous and very moisturising …

Hope your having a fabulous weekend! I know its been around for a while but I thought I’ld let everyone know abouy my favourite Dior quint. I got it for my 21st B’day from my gorgeous boyfriend and I’ve wore it every weekend ever since and it hardly looks touched! Dior eyeshadows are the best IMO, very pigmented, lovely texture and hardly any fallout. The shades are all shimmer apart from the darkest brown which isnt matte as such just not as shimmery as the others.I got ‘Earth Reflection’ because I know I would use the colours quite alot, bar the pinky highlighter shade. As I’m quite pale it just looks like shimmer, you can hardly see the pink so I rarely use that one but the other colours get a regular bash =D. I didn’t take a pic of my own as its quite battered!
The shades all compliment eachother beautifully, and I love using the darkest brown along my lower or upper lashline for a smokey eyeliner effect during the day. The lightest beige (bottom right) looks lovely used by your tear duct then smoked into the lighter brown (top right) on your lower lashline. As I …
