Hey you guys!
I know I don’t come on this shiznay that much anymore, I’m sorry =(. I’m just so busy with my work and stuff, and you all know how long it takes to write out a blog post… Edit pics…. Fannying about making sure you got your facts right (before some shitbitch puts you in your place…) Etc….
Anyway! I went into town today (just because the suns out it does not mean you can parade your manky feet and cellulite rippled thighs around in flip flops and hotpants!) URGH. Grossness. I popped into Boots to get a Barry M nail polish in pale pink as my nails are looking kinda rough right about now, and really don’t need anymore dark polish. I have been a good girl and kept them naked, bar a few coats of Sally Hansen nail strengthener. They don’t seem to be looking any better but meh, I think I might go for a professional manicure when I get paid to sort them out and get some proper products. Anyway, I got sidetracked by the 17 stand as they were giving away a gorgeous lil free gift and I’m such a sucker for free …

Ohh Em Gee.
Am totally HEARTing this…. And I thought glitter polishes were only for teenagers!
I used 2 coats, maybe could’ve done with another but I don’t like the ’sandpaper’ feeling that comes with glitter polishes…
As with my other CG polish, application was smooth and easy. I loved this from when I saw it on Bicky’s blog and knew I HAD to have it =D

Its nearly Spring, wooohooooo! Other then being able to walk around in just a cardi (or in my case, a hoody =D) the best thing about Spring is all the gorgeous, wearable pastel colours that bounce around in chemists and makeup counters. Illamasqua are launching a range of gorgeous nail polishes, inc. a very wearable pale yellow, a must have muted lilac, a faded grey and a mint green. These are launching online and on counters at the beginning of March but Illamasqua have warned these are going to fly off the shelves so pre-order! Oh and they are £13 a pop =0/ so I will definately not be purchasing (although they look gorgeous and are apparently v.good quality!)
Then there’s the gorgeous ‘Up & Away’ collection by China Glaze:
The collection includes – Grape Pop – bright plum, Sugar High – petal pin, Something Sweet – cotton candy, Light As Air – periwinkle, Heli – Yum – raspberry, Flyin’ High – teal, Four Leaf Clover – kelly green, Re-Fresh Mint – spearmint, Peachy Keen – nectar, High Hopes – guava, Happy Go Lucky – sunshine yellow, Lemon Fizz – banana. All delicious shades and …

Hey dudes! Please give your honest advice on this shade with my skintone, me and my boyf have been umming and ahhhing as to wether we actually like it =0/. On the website it looked absolutely stunning, and I saw a swatch of it on someone with dark skin and again it looked amazing… but on me I just think it looks a bit ‘meh’?
The application was terrible, I don’t know if it was because of the milky colour or because its MACs formula but its took 3 coats to get the semi-opaque colour in my pics, I think any more then 3 coats is just silly esp when my cheap NYC polishes look fabulous after just 2 coats.
Overall I’m torn with this one, I can’t decide if I like it or not…. It’s most strange lol. Oh and the fact is was bloody £8 didn’t sit too sweet with me either. Thats far too much for a nail polish IMO!
‘Coconut Ice’ from the MAC In Lillyland collection £8

The perfect winter nail colour has to be something rich, bold and dark. Gothic chic has passed and the neons were in…then out… then in again =D. I have been through a phase of wearing really girlie pinks and lilacs on my nails recently, I normally wear black so it has made quite a change! Whilst working at Boots when they had the £5 off voucher promotion with our staff discount the No. 7 nail polishes worked out FREE! So I have all of them =D woop! They are priced at £6.25 but with Boots there is always some sort of promotion, 3-for-2, a free gift or the £5 vouchers so everything is always a value buy. They are really high quality, the stay perfect really do last days without chipping and the colours are gorgeous. ‘Damson Dream’ had to be one of my favourites, as it is quite unique and I always get compliments on it. The brush is long which enables you to cover the edges of your nail perfectly, and the non-streak fast drying formula is up there with OPI, Jessica and the like. I love it!
