My new obsession – Urban Decay Glide-On Cheek Tints

It’s no secret I’m a blusher freak, they’re always the key item that gets me excited when I hear of a new collection launch. I own mostly powder formulas, but have recently been branching out into creme blushers with Illamasqua and MAC being my favourites. The only thing I dislike about a cream formula is with the high end brands the pigmentation is so vivid it’s easy to go overboard as you only need the smallest amount. I’ve often ended up with the dreaded ‘Aunt Sally’ cheeks due to being a big too excited and applying too much. When I got the press release for the new Urban Decay Glide-On Cheek Tints I knew I would end up with a few in my collection. These are hands down the easiest blushers to apply, even for a noob like me! They really do glide-on, just as the name suggests and they have such a beautiful sheer consistency you can build them up easily for more colour or simply add a natural flush with a quick swipe of your fingers.

Funky packaging, as you would expect from Urban Decay.Compact and lightweight, the perfect size and shape to slip in your handbag!

Bang

L-R Score – Bang – Quickie (swatched heavily)

Available in the following shades -

Bang – sheer coral red

Crush – sheer hot pink

Fetish – sheer mauve with fine pearlized finish

Greedy – sheer blackberry

Indecent – sheer apricot with pearly gold shimmer

Quickie – sheer bubble pop electric pink

Score – sheer pink lemonade with pearlized finish

Definitely something for everyone! Bang is my favourite at the moment, worn with a slick of eyeliner and mixed with balm on my lips it’s been my winning combo for the sunnier weather. I simply apply with my middle finger over the apples of my cheeks and blend in, I’ve also used Bang as a base for Benefit Coralisa and I found it gave it more of a pop with the coral undertone, and also increased the lasting power to a full working day. With my oily skin I do find I have to re-apply throughout the day, but it’s so fun to use I don’t mind. Also as a lip colour the lasting power is’t too great but it doesn’t dry my lips out either so I don’t mind. Due to the fact they are quite sheer, I would suggest swatching first if you’re a woman of colour. My skin is fair and I had trouble with ‘Score’ as it almost blends right in with my skintone.

They look lovely! I've got the colour quickie in the powder blush, I wonder if the colours are really similar x
