Happy new year! I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and new years, one of my new years resolutions is to post twice a week (at least) so let’s kick it off with this gorgeous giftset which I was luckily enough to get from Santa (all the way from New York!)

Unfortunately Sephora doesn’t ship to the UK, I don’t know why seeing as every other company in the world ships internationally and they are missing out on a huge target market here in the UK but I digress! These ‘Beauty in a Box’ sets are a really great deal, the one I have is only $69, which is a huge saving off the individual products RRP of $121! I have seen all brands covered in these sets, from Dior to Stila to deluxe mascara & fragrance sampler sets. If you’revisiting the US or have a friend who can ship over to you the Beauty in a Box sets are really worth checking out.

So let’s get onto the goodies! If you follow me on Twitter you will know I’ve gone a lil NARS crazy recently and got a shedload for Christmas so keep your eyes peeled for more Nars posts, and when Santa was in New York I was straight on the blower putting in my order… Well, I’ve been a good girl =)

All in all great value, unfortunately I don’t have the bronzer as Santa still has it in his suitcase but I’m sure you all know what Laguna looks like. The mini items are fab for trying out, and every Beauty in a Box I’ve seen has products that compliment eachother, there’s nothing worse then getting a giftset that has 1 awesome products and the rest are duds right?

The only item that is available to buy is the Ophelia lip gloss, of course you can buy the bigger multiple and bronzer but the mini sizes are only found in gift sets such as this. Another thing NARS should think about, how nice would it be to be able to buy the miniatures? I know I would be more inclined to buy a full sized product if I could sample it properly first, and as we all know NARS doesn’t come cheap!

My favourite product is definitely the eye palette, I’ve been dubious about purchasing a NARS eye shadow as they can be pretty hit and miss going by online reviews, but every shadow in the palette is highly pigmented, butter soft and the combination of shades makes it easy to create a natural daytime look or a smokey, heavier eye.

I LOVE NARS lip gloss, I also have Turkish Delight and they are incredible. Slightly sticky, moisturising and last through lunch. Ophelia is quite a close match to my natural lip colour and on me it provides a glossy, polished lip which would be perfect over nude lipstick.

The Orgasm Multiple is not something I would buy on its own, I don’t feel it ‘does’ much and is much too sheer to be used as a blush or even a highlighter. I also have the Orgasm Illuminator and it literally disappeared into my skin and looked like there was nothing there. Could maybe work on darker skin?

Such a lovely mix of colours, I’m soo happy to finally have some NARS eye products – I’m really happy with all of these and genuinely think they are worth the money.

All in all I’m very pleased with my lovely present, I just wish Sephora shipped to the UK!!!!!!!
