cosmetics-skincare.co.uk MAC haul (& Collection 2000)
Hey Krusty Krabs =D
In a recent post I told you all about a fab big brand discount website Cosmetics Skincare which sells MAC, Estee Lauder, Benefit and many other famous names at knock down prices. When I saw the site myself I did have the odd niggle about the products not being genuine but there are alot of factors to think about when it comes to dodgy goods. IMO the seller has too many products for them all to be fakes, because I for one have never seen fake Benefit lipsticks?! Myself and a few other bloggers emailed the owner (Laura Duncan) asking if her stock was all authentic and of course she mailed back and swore blind it all was. Still suspicious, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited until my order had arrived. It came yesterday but I was busy (lol Bicky) when the postman knocked so I had to go and collect it today and I’m really pleased! Everything seems genuine, the boxes, the packaging and the products themselves are just like my shop-bought MAC items.
Studio Fix powder in NC20
Harmony Blusher
Tendertone Lip Balm in Take A Hint
It all looks and feels 100% genuine but the jury is still out! Apparently some fakes are so good that you can’t tell they’re not authentic unless you depot them and see that the pan is different =0/
For me, I’m happy but if you want to know your products are all 100% genuine its best buying from the MAC website or from a counter.
I also popped into Superdrug and got some Collection 2000 bits after hearing alot of good things about the Lasting Perfection foundation, it was only £5.99 and if you bought 3 items you got a funky eyeshadow palette so I also picked up a Dazzle Me eye dust in Bedazzled £2.99 and a Glam Metallics eyeliner in Groupie £2.99. The Matrix Sleek shampoo and conditioner are another eBay find £7.99 that I had to pick up from the post depot lol.
